Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

We want everyone to be able to use PackOS, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

What this statement covers

• This website, packospro.com
• PackOS Checkout, the app merchants use inside the Shopify admin
• PackOS Labels, at app.packospro.com

What we have done

• Text and controls are designed to meet WCAG AA colour-contrast ratios.
• Toggles and icon-only buttons have accessible names, and form errors are announced.
• Keyboard focus is visible, and dialogs keep focus inside them, close with Escape and return focus to where you were.
• PackOS Labels has a "Skip to main content" link and a main landmark, and announces errors to screen readers.
• The 3D packing view in PackOS Checkout has a text description of the box, the number of items and how full it is.
• We run automated accessibility checks on this website's pages before they are published.

Known limitations

We know about these and are working on them:

• The 3D packing view itself is a visual canvas. Its text description summarises the result, but it does not describe where each item sits in the box.
• Some older forms in PackOS Labels still show their label only as placeholder text.
• PackOS Checkout runs inside the Shopify admin, so parts of the experience — the surrounding admin, Shopify's plan picker and Shopify's billing pages — are provided by Shopify and follow Shopify's own accessibility work.
• Shipping labels and carrier documents are generated by the carriers as PDFs and images, and may not be accessible to screen readers.

How we test

We assess our own products: automated checks on every published page of this website, automated tests for accessible names, focus handling and contrast in both apps, and manual keyboard testing. We have not yet had a third-party audit.

If something in PackOS is hard or impossible for you to use, email support@packospro.com with "Accessibility" in the subject line. Tell us the page or screen, what you were trying to do and, if you are comfortable sharing it, the assistive technology you use. We will reply within 5 business days, and if we cannot fix the barrier quickly we will help you get the task done another way.
